Abstract of the Disclosure Article A biskeletal composite has a first three-dimensional por- ous skeletal host or body of ceramic material and a second three-dimensional body infiltrated within the host as to be generally complementary therewithin with such second body being formed of metal or metal alloy. In one aspect of the invention the host is formed of silicon nitride while the infiltrant forming the second body is formed of aluminum alloy.
