PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: Matériau composite comprenant un substrat peu ou pas excitable par les micro-ondes et un revêtement à base d'une composition polymère en poudre excitable par les micro-ondes, caractérisé en ce que la température de fusion du substrat est inférieure à la température de filmification de la composition polymère. L'invention a également pour objet un procédé de fabrication de ce matériau composite caractérisé en ce que l'énergie nécessaire à la filmification du revêtement sur le substrat est transmise par un rayonnement électromagnétique dans le domaine des micro-ondes. Ce procédé permet de recouvrir des substrats dont la température de fusion est inférieure à la température de filmification du revêtement.
