The invention relates to a composite material for producing a layer of a disposable absorbent hygienic article that comes into physical contact with the body, said layer consisting of at least two layers of a nonwoven material that are interlinked by a thermal process. The aim of the invention is to increase the processing properties of the composite material and to prevent the escape of particulate super-absorbent materials from the surface of the hygienic article. To this end, the top layer that comes into physical contact with the body consists of a mixture of mono-component fibers and bi-component fibers. The share of the bi-component fibers is 30 to 70 % by weight and the denier value of the fibers of the top layer is not more than 3.5 dtex. The lower layer comprises at least 40 % by weight of bi-component fibers whose higher-melting component is constituted of PES (polyester) and the lower- melting component has a melting point lower than that of the mono-component fibers of the top layer. The denier value of the bi-component fibers of the lower layer ranges between 4 and 10 dtex.

L'invention concerne un matériau composite servant à former une couche, orientée vers le corps, d'un article d'hygiène absorbant, à usage unique, ledit matériau étant constitué d'au moins deux couches de non-tissé thermoscellées. L'invention vise à accroître l'aptitude à la transformation du matériau composite et à empêcher que des particules de matériau superabsorbant ne sortent à la surface d'un article d'hygiène. A cet effet, la couche supérieure, orientée vers le corps, est constituée d'un mélange de fibres à un seul composant et de fibres à deux composants, la proportion de fibres à deux composants étant comprise entre 30 et 70 % en poids et la masse linéique des fibres de la couche supérieure s'élevant au maximum à 3,5 dtex. La couche inférieure comprend au moins 40 % en poids de fibres à deux composants, dont les composants à haut point de fusion sont constitués de polyester (PES) et les composants à bas point de fusion présentent un point de fusion inférieur à celui des fibres à un seul composant de la couche supérieure. La masse linéique des fibres à deux composants de la couche inférieure est comprise entre 4 et 10 dtex.
