Abstract of the Disclosure: A composite molded article made of a nonwoven fibrous mat wherein inorganic monofilaments having a length of 10 to 200 mm and a daimeter of 2 to 30 micro- meters are partially bonded with a thermoplastic resin binder, many voids being provided throughout the mat and a large number of fine holes communicating with the voids in the inside being formed in at least one surface of the mat; and processes for producing the same.
