The invention relates to a negative electrode material, a method of producing said material, a negative electrode and a lithium-ion battery comprising said material. The inventive material comprises an active phase comprising a material M based on Al, Si, Sn, Sb or a mixture thereof and a support phase comprising a material XaYbOc, wherein: O is an oxygen; Y is a cation with a degree of oxidation (m) of 3, 4, 5 or 6; X is a cation with a degree of oxidation (d) of 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5, whereby X ensures the electroneutrality of XaYbOc; and c is such that 2 = c = 10; b is such that 1 = b = 4; and a = (2c-bm)/d. According to the invention, a mixed composition interface exists between material XaYbOc and active phase M, said interface comprising elements M, X, Y and O. For example, XaYbOc can be BPO4. The inventive production method comprises the following steps consisting in: subjecting a mixture of oxides of X and Y to a first thermal treatment, in order to obtain material XYO4; cooling and subsequently grinding the material obtained; mixing the ground material with M; subjecting the mixture thus obtained to a second thermal treatment, in order to obtain the inventive material; and cooling said material.

La présente invention se rapporte à un matériau d'électrode négative, à un procédé de fabrication de ce matériau, ainsi qu'à une électrode négative et à un accumulateur lithium-ion comprenant ce matériau. Le matériau de l'invention comprend une phase active constituée d'un matériau M à base de Al, Si, Sn, Sb ou d'un mélange de ceux-ci, et une phase support constituée d'un matériau XaYbOc, où : O est un oxygène ; Y est un cation de degré d'oxydation m = 3, 4, 5 ou 6 ; X est un cation de degré d'oxydation d = 1, 2, 3, 4 ou 5 , X assurant l'électroneutralité de XaYbOc ; et où : c est tel que 2 <= c <= 10 ; b est tel que 1 <= b <= 4 ; et a = (2c-bm)/d. Une interface de composition mixte existe entre le matériau XaYbOc et la phase active M, ladite interface étant constituée des éléments M, X, Y et O. XaYbOc peut être par exemple BPO4 . Le procédé de fabrication comprend un premier traitement thermique d'un mélange d'oxydes de X et de Y pour obtenir un matériau XYO4 ; un refroidissement puis un broyage du matériau obtenu ; un mélange du matériau broyé avec M ; un deuxième traitement thermique du mélange obtenu pour obtenir ledit matériau de l'invention ; et un refroidissement dudit matériau.
