A composite oxide for a solid oxide fuel cell which comprises a rare earth element, has a perovskite type crystal structure, contains a phase having a structure different from a perovskite type structure in an average area percentage of 0.3 % or less, has constituent elements being homogeneously dispersed therein, and has a melting point of 1470 ~C or higher; and a method for preparing the composite oxide which comprises reacting one or more metal carbonates, one or more metal oxides and/or one or more metal hydroxides with citric acid. The composite oxide can be fired at a relatively low temperature and is reduced in the content of an impurity phase having a structure different from the primary structure, and thus can be used for manufacturing a fuel cell having high performance capabilities and capable of being operated at a relatively low temperature.
La présente invention concerne un oxyde composite pour pile à combustible à oxyde solide. Il renferme un élément terre rare. Sa structure cristalline est de type pérovskite. Il contient une phase d'une structure de type non-pérovskite représentant au maximum 0,3 % de la surface moyenne. Ses éléments constituants y sont dispersés de façon homogène. Enfin, son point de fusion est d'au moins 1470 ·C. L'invention concerne également un procédé de préparation de l'oxyde composite. En l'occurrence, on fait réagir avec de l'acide citrique au moins un carbonate de métal, au moins un oxyde de métal, et/ou au moins un hydroxyde de métal. La température calcination de cet oxyde composite étant relativement basse. Il présente une teneur réduite en phase d'impuretés d'une structure différente de la structure primaire. Ces qualités font qu'il convient à la fabrication d'une pile à combustible haut rendement fonctionnant à température relativement basse.
