Composite particles having a core consisting of an organic polymer and a coating including at least one aluminium, silicon, zirconium and/or transition metal oxide and/or hydroxide, and optionally containing calcium carbonate, as well as methods for preparing same, are disclosed. The use of said composite particles for preparing hollow particles with a shell of the same kind as the above-mentioned coating is also disclosed. Finally, the use of said hollow composite particles as fillers or additives in plastics and elastomers is disclosed.
La présente invention concerne des particules composites à base d'un coeur en polymère organique et d'un revêtement comprenant au moins un oxyde et/ou un hydroxyde d'aluminium, de silicium, de zirconium et/ou d'un métal de transition, et comprenant éventuellement du carbonate de calcium, ainsi que leurs procédés de préparation. Elle a de même pour objet l'utilisation des particules composites pour préparer des particules creuses présentant une écorce du type du revêtement précité. Enfin, l'invention a pour objet l'utilisation desdites particules composites et creuses comme charges ou additifs dans les plastiques et les élastomères.
