There has been explained a composite, particulate feed for fish larvae or fry, and larvae of other aquatic organisms. This dry feed, so-called formulated feed, shall be of such a high quality and condition and otherwise exhibit such properties as to make it suitable for replacing live feed (for example Artemia Salinas), which is very expensive and which may be hard to obtain, at least periodically, and which has a generally very low percentage of hatching (Artemia Salinas) some years. To this end a feed according to the invention excels in that the feed particles consist of a matrix containing water- insoluble nutrients, phospholipids/biomembranes being embedded in said particles, which biomembranes contain fat-soluble components and pack water-soluble nutrients. Also, there has been explained a method of manufacturing such feed, whereby a matrix material which contains water-insoluble nutrients, phospholipids/biomembranes containing fat-soluble and water-soluble nutrients, further nutrients and water is mixed together, comminuted in a nozzle or similar and then cross-linked in a suitable solution.

L'invention concerne un composite, en particulier un aliment pour des larves ou des alevins de poisson, ainsi que pour des larves d'autres organismes aquatiques. Cet aliment sec, ci-après dénommé aliment formulé, présente une qualité et un état satisfaisants tout en étant doté de propriétés qui lui permettent de remplacer un aliment vivant (par exemple Artemia Salinas), qui outre son coût élevé, peut être difficile à obtenir, du moins périodiquement, en raison d'un très faible pourcentage d'éclosion (Artemia Salinas) certaines années. Cette invention concerne donc un aliment renfermant des particules composées d'une matrice à base d'éléments nutritifs insolubles dans l'eau, des phospholipides/biomembranes étant intégrés dans ces particules. Ces biomembranes contiennent elles-mêmes des constituants liposolubles et des éléments nutritifs hydrosolubles agglomérés. Cette invention concerne également un procédé de préparation de cet aliment, ce procédé consistant notamment à mélanger une substance matricielle, qui contient des éléments nutritifs insolubles dans l'eau, des phospholipides/biomembranes renfermant des éléments nutritifs liposolubles et hydrosolubles, d'autres éléments nutritifs, et de l'eau, ce mélange étant ensuite broyé dans une buse ou tout autre dispositif similaire, puis réticulé dans une solution adaptée.
