Case 4278 ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An incore neutron flux detector assembly is provided, having a plurality of juxtapositioned pairs of prompt responding detectors and delayed responding neutron detectors spaced axially along the active fuel height of a core. The more accurate delayed response detectors are utilized to provide a generally continuous calibration of the less accurate prompt responding detectors for the flux distribution at the axial position.
