ABSTRACT The present inventionn provides a composite reflecting mirror for a headlamp comprising a plurality of paraboloidal columnar reflecting surfaces, the reflect- ing surfaces having their focal point on a center line along an approximately horizontal axis, characterized in that the composite reflecting mirror is laterally substantially divided into three portions, i.e., a left end portion, a right end portion and a central portion, the relationship of the left end portion > the central portion and the right end portion > the central portion on the average value of the focal lengths of the plurality of paraboloidal columnar reflecting surfaces included in the respective portions.
