A B S T R A C T A composite strip for fabricating thermoformed sterile packaging for liquid and/or semi-liquid substances, the composite strip being of the type comprising firstly a first single-layer or multi-layer strip whose "internal" face or layer that is to delimit the inside of the packaging is thermoplastic, heat-sealable, and sterile, and secondly a protective strip which adheres in a manner that is sealed but is capable of being peeled apart to the sterile face of said internal face or layer. According to the invention, the protective strip is constituted by a second single-layer or multi-layer strip whose composition is identical to that of the first single-layer or multi-layer strip and whose internal thermoplastic layer having a sterile inside face adheres in a manner which is sealed but is capable of being peeled apart to the sterile inside face of the internal thermoplastic layer of said first single-layer or multi-layer strip.
