ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A composite tubular drive shaft is disclosed in which a plurality of layers of laminated sheet material is circumferentially disposed on a tubular core. The sheet material contains unidirectional fibers oriented at an angle of about 15° to about 12° with respect to the longitudinal axis of the tube.
