ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE COMPOSITION A composition comprising a polycarbonate of from about 10,000 to 18,000 viscosity average molecular weight said composition phosphorous containing additives; (1) essentially free of phosphorous containing additives, (2) having a YI as measured by ASTM D1925 of less than about 1.9, (3) a transparency as measured by ASTM D1003 of at least 89.5%, and (4) a retardation of no more than about 60 nm when molded into an audio disc 1.2mm thick and 102mm wide.
