A multicomponent acidizing system for oil well acidizing solutions comprises both quinaldine and a quinolinium compound, particularly a methyl, methylnaphthalene or benzyl quinolinium chloride, preferably with dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid in a blend of solvents, to protect against corrosion and prevent sludge and emulsion formation.
