The present invention relates to a composition comprising prebiotic (prebiotic adjuvant) for decreasing inflammatory process by improving the homeostasis of non-specific immune parameters and of lymphocyte subpopulations. It also relates to the use of a prebiotic formulation in the manufacture of a medicament or a food or petfood composition for decreasing inflammatory process and/or abnormal activation of non-specific immune parameters, such as phagocytes.
La présente invention concerne une composition comprenant un prébiotique (adjuvant prébiotique) afin de faire décroître le processus inflammatoire en améliorant l'homéostase de paramètres d'immunité non spécifiques et celle de sous-populations lymphocytaires. L'invention concerne également l'utilisation d'une formulation prébiotique dans la fabrication d'un médicament ou d'un aliment ou d'une composition d'aliments pour animaux de compagnie afin de faire décroître le processus inflammatoire et/ou l'activation anormale de paramètres d'immunité non spécifiques, tels que les phagocytes.
