ABSTRACT. The present invention relates to a multiple-unit-dose compris- ing L-dopa as pharmaceutically active compound, whereby the composition provides a release of L-dopa in accordance with a test in accordance with US Pharmacopea Standards in an arti- ficial gastric juice having a pH of at most 1.2 of at most 20 % by weight during 1 hr, and in a phosphate buffer accord- ing to the same standard a release of at least 35 % by weight during 1 hr, and at least 80 % by weight during 3 hrs.
