The instant invention is a sealant composition comprising an ultra-high solid polyurethane dispersion comprising. The ultra-high solid polyurethane dispersion comprises (1) a first component comprising a first polyurethane prepolymer or a first polyurethane prepolymer emulsion, (2) a second component comprising a media phase selected from the group consisting of a second polyurethane prepolymer emulsion, a low solid content polyurethane dispersion, a seed latex, and combinations thereof; and (3) a chain extender. The ultra-high solid polyurethane dispersion has at least a solid content of at least 65 percent by weight of solid content, based on the total weight of the ultra-high solid polyurethane dispersion, and a viscosity of less than 5000 cps at 20 rpm at 21° C using spindle #4 with Brookfield viscometer. The sealant composition may further include optionally one or more surfactants, optionally one or more dispersants, optionally one or more thickeners, optionally one or more pigments, optionally one or more fillers, optionally one or more freeze-thaw agent, optionally one or more neutralizing agents, optionally one or more plasticizers, and/or combinations thereof.
La présente invention concerne une composition d'étanchéité comprenant une dispersion de polyuréthane ultrasolide. La dispersion de polyuréthane ultrasolide comprend (1) un premier composant comprenant un premier prépolymère de polyuréthane ou une première émulsion de prépolymère de polyuréthane, (2) un second composant comprenant une phase de milieu choisie dans le groupe constitué par une seconde émulsion de prépolymère de polyuréthane, une dispersion de polyuréthane à faible teneur en solide, un latex en grain et des combinaisons de celles-ci; et (3) un allongeur de chaîne. La dispersion de polyuréthane ultrasolide présente au moins une teneur en solide d'au moins 65 pour cent en poids, sur la base du poids total de la dispersion de polyuréthane ultrasolide, et une viscosité inférieure à 5000 cps à 20 tr/mn à 21 °C en utilisant un arbre n°4 avec un viscosimètre de Brookfield. La composition d'étanchéité peut en outre comprendre éventuellement un ou plusieurs agents tensio-actifs, éventuellement un ou plusieurs dispersants, éventuellement un ou plusieurs agents épaississants, éventuellement un ou plusieurs pigments, éventuellement une ou plusieurs charges, éventuellement un ou plusieurs agents gel-dégel, éventuellement un ou plusieurs agents de neutralisation, éventuellement un ou plusieurs plastifiants et/ou des combinaisons de ceux-ci.
