Disclosed is a composition containing a benzamidine derivative which is not decomposed even under humidified conditions. Also disclosed is a method for stabilizing a benzamidine derivative. Decomposition reaction of benzamidine derivatives can be suppressed by adding at least one electrolyte selected from the group consisting of halide salts of alkali metals or alkaline earth metals and perchlorates of alkali metals or alkaline earth metals to a benzamidine derivative represented by the general formula (I) or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof.

Il est prévu une composition contenant un dérivé de benzamidine qui n~est pas décomposé même dans des conditions humidifiées. Il est également prévu un procédé pour stabiliser un dérivé de benzamidine. On peut supprimer la réaction par décomposition d~un dérivé de benzamidine en ajoutant au moins un électrolyte sélectionné parmi le groupe consistant en sels d~halogénure de métaux alcalins ou de métaux alcalinoterreux et de perchlorates de métaux alcalins ou de métaux alcalinoterreux à un dérivé de benzamidine représenté par la formule générale (I) ou un sel acceptable pharmacologiquement de celui-ci.
