COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING N4-ACYLCYTOSINE ARABINSIDES AND PROCESS FOR PREPARATION THEREOF ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A water-soluble composition at least comprising (1) an N4-acylcytosine arabinoside and (2) at least one additive selected from (a) polyoxyethylene-bonded hydroxy fatty acid glycerin esters, (b) polyoxyethylene fatty acid esters, (c) polyoxyethylene-bonded lanolin and (d) bile acids, preferably further containing (3) at least one auxiliary additive selected from saccharides, aliphatic polyols, inorganic chlorides, inorganic bromides, inorganic sulfates and aromatic carboxylic acids or salts thereof; and a process for preparing the same. The composition enables N4-acylcytosine arabinosides to be used in a wider range of applications.
