The present invention relates to in-situ crosslinkable compositions for augmenting hard tissue. Said composition comprises first and second precursor components wherein the first precursor component comprises at least two nucleophilic groups and the second precursor component comprises at least two electrophilic groups and wherein the first and second precursor components are selected such that the nucleophilic and electrophilic groups form covalent linkages with each other at the site of application in the body. A preferred use of the compositions of the present invention is in vertebroplasty, thus for augmenting vertebrae of the spine.

L'invention porte sur des compositions réticulables in situ favorisant la régénération des tissus durs. Une telle composition comprend un premier et un deuxième composants précurseurs; le premier comporte au moins deux groupes nucléophiles, et le deuxième, au moins deux groupes électrophiles, lesdits composants étant choisis pour que les groupes nucléophiles et les groupes électrophiles forment entre eux des liaisons covalentes dans le site corporel d'application. L'utilisation préférée de ces compositions est la vertébroplastie c.-à-d. la régénération des vertèbres spinales.
