To provide a composition for metal surface treatment capable of forming films capable of imparting excellent corrosion resistance in relation to metallic materials, in particular, metal formations having complex shapes through a single dipping step. [Means for solving] A composition for metal surface treatment containing 5 to 30% by weight of a nonionic and/or cationic water-based resin, 100 to 1,000 ppm of trivalent Bi ions and an aminopolycarboxylic acid at 0.5 to 10 times in molar concentration based on the Bi ions.

L'invention porte sur une composition de traitement de la surface d'un métal qui permet la formation d'un film de revêtement pouvant communiquer une excellente résistance à la corrosion à un matériau métallique, en particulier à une structure métallique présentant une forme complexe, en une seule étape d'immersion. L'invention porte de manière précise sur une composition de traitement de la surface d'un métal qui est caractérisée en ce qu'elle comporte de 5 à 30 % en poids d'une résine aqueuse non ionique et/ou cationique, de 100 à 1 000 ppm d'un ion trivalent de bismuth, et un acide aminopolycarboxylique en une quantité de 0,5 à 10 fois la concentration molaire par rapport à la quantité de l'ion de bismuth.
