The invention concerns a composition for oxidation staining of keratin fibres including 2-amino 3-hydroxy pyridine as a first coupler in association with an oxidation base chosen from among formula (I) paraphenylenediamines and/or formula (II) para-aminophenols and a second coupler chosen from among formula (III) meta-aminophenol derivatives, and the staining process producing this composition with an oxidating agent.

L'invention a pour objet une composition pour la teinture d'oxydation des fibres kératiniques comprenant de la 2-amino 3-hydroxy pyridine à titre de premier coupleur en association avec une base d'oxydation choisie parmi des paraphénylènediamines de formule (I) et/ou des para-aminophénols de formule (II) ainsi qu'un second coupleur choisi parmi des dérivés de méta-aminophénol de formule (III), ainsi que le procédé de teinture mettant en oeuvre cette composition avec un agent oxydant.
