ABSTRACT A method of conferring. on a composition of materials adapted for metallurgical treatments and constituted by a polyphase mixture of a cryogenic fluid and at least one additional constituent in the form of particles, pre-determined properties for the purpose of said treatments, comprising the incorporation in at least one liquefied gas of at least one substance having specifically the pre-determined properties referred to said substance being present in the mixture in the form of particles having granular size of less than 50 microns so as to form a homogenous and stable suspension in the boiling liquefied gas.
