Abstract of the Disclosure An autocorrosive and insulating coating composition is disclosed which comprises from 40 to 90 volume %, advantageously 50 to 70 volume % of rubber grist, from 0.5 to 30 volume %, advantageously 2 to 20 volume % of limonene, from 0.5 to 30 volume %, advantageously 2 to 10 volume % of essential or volatile oil extracted from anethum, salvia or carum carvi (foeniculum), and further from 5 to 30 volume %, advantageously 10 to 20 volume % of lacquer, together with a balance of resin.
