The invention relates to a composition suitable for inhibiting potato sprouting and inhibiting the growth of fungi and decay bacteria, comprising a mixture of carvone and menthol. The invention further relates to a method for inhibiting potato sprouting by using such composition and to the use thereof. The invention additionally relates to a composition in the form of an emulsion or granulate which comprises carvone and menthol or carvone alone, giving rise to a delayed release of the active compound and an extension of the length of sprout inhibition.
L'invention se rapporte à une composition destinée à être utilisée pour l'inhibition de la germination des pommes de terre et pour l'inhibition de la croissance des champignons et des bactéries de décomposition. La composition comprend un mélange de carbone et de menthol. De plus, l'invention se rapporte à un procédé d'inhibition de la germination des pommes de terre utilisant une telle composition et à son utilisation. L'invention se rapporte également à une composition sous forme d'émulsion ou de granulé comprenant de la carvone et du menthol, ou de la carvone seule, permettant la libération retardée du composé actif et la prolongation de la période d'inhibition de germination.
