The present invention relates to a novel use of multilamellar vesicles with an onion-like structure having an internal liquid crystal structure formed by a stack of concentric bilayers based on amphiphilic agents alternating with layers of water, an aqueous solution or a solution of a polar liquid and into which at least one antigen is incorporated, for the production of a composition, more particularly a pharmaceutical composition, in particular a vaccine composition, for administration via the mucosa, to induce a mucous response and/or a seric systemic response and/or to protect the organism against an infection for which said antigen is responsible. The invention also relates to a method for vaccination via the mucosa and a method for producing antibody, in particular IgA. More particularly, the invention is applicable to nasal administration.

La présente invention concerne une nouvelle utilisation de vésicules multilamellaires à structure en oignon présentant une structure interne cristal-liquide formée d'un empilement de bicouches concentriques à base d'agents amphiphiles alternant avec des couches d'eau, de solution aqeuse ou de solution d'un liquide polaire et au sein desquelles se trouve incorporé au moins un antigène, pour la fabrication d'une composition notamment pharmaceutique et plus particulièrement vaccinale destinée à une administration par voix muquese pour induire une réponse muqueuse et/ou systémique sérique et/ou pour protéger l'organisme à l'égard de l'infection dont est responsable ledit antigène. L'invention concerne également un procédé de vaccination par voie muqueuse et un procédé de production d'anticorps, notamment d'IgA. L'invention s'applique tout particulièrement dans le cas d'une administration par voie nasale.
