The present invention relates to a composition which contains a mixture of alkoxylated mono-, di-, and triglycerides and glycerine of formula wherein R' represents H or CH3, and each one of m, n, or l represents, independently, a number from 0 to 20, the sum of m, n, and l being in the range of 1.5 to 20, characterized in that in the acyl group represented by -CO- R, R represents an alkyl or alkenyl group, linear or branched, of 6 to 11 carbon atoms,and the proportion by weight (i)+(ii)+(iii)/(iv) is in the range of 2.0:0.5 to 0.5:3; and to a method for the preparation of said composition, the detergent compositions which contain said compositions, and the use of said composition as surfactant or co-surfactant in the detergent compositions, particularly in detergent compositions, especially, but not exclusively, suitable for washing fabrics, suitable for manual dishwashing, for washing the hair or for personal hygiene.

La présente invention concerne une composition contenant un mélange de mono-, di- et triglycérides alcoxylés et d'une glycérine répondant à la formule dans laquelle R' représente H ou CH3, et m, n et l représentent chacun, indépendamment, un nombre de 0 à 20, la somme m + n + l étant dans la gamme de 1,5 à 20, caractérisée en ce que dans le groupe acyle représenté par ~CO-R, R représente un groupe alkyle ou alcényle, linéaire ou ramifié, contenant de 6 à 11 atomes de carbone et la proportion en poids (i) + (ii) + (iii)/(iv) est dans la gamme de 2,0/0,5 à 0,5/3 ; et un procédé de préparation de ladite composition, des compositions détergentes contenant lesdites compositions et l'utilisation de ladite composition en tant qu'agent tensioactif ou co-agent tensioactif dans les compositions détergentes, en particulier dans des compositions détergentes, spécialement, mais pas exclusivement, appropriées pour des tissus lavables, appropriées pour laver la vaisselle à la main, pour laver les cheveux ou pour l'hygiène personnelle.
