The invention concerns a composition of organotin maleates resulting from reacting a mixture of an alcohol or of an epoxyalkane of low molecular weight and of an alcohol or of an epoxyalkane of high molecular weight with maleic anhydride, then in contacting the resulting medium with a dialkyltin oxide. The invention also concerns the polyvinyl chloride (PVC) stabilised and lubricated with said composition with base of organotin maleates as well as the rigid extruded objects formed from said PVC compositions.
De nouvelles compositions de maléates d'organoétain sont obtenues par réaction d'un mélange constitué par au moins un composant RA et au moins un composant R1A avec l'anhydride maléique, puis mise en contact du milieu réactionnel ainsi obtenu avec au moins un oxyde de dialkyl étain de formule (R2)2 SN = O dans laquelle R2 représente un radical hydrocarboné aliphatique ayant 1 à 12 atomes de carbone, ou avec au moins un chlorure d'alkylétain de formule (R2) x SnCl4-x dans laquelle R2 à la signification précitée et x est un nombre entier égal à 1 ou 2, RA représentant soit un alcool ROH dans lequel R représente un radical hydrocarboné aliphatique ayant 1 à atomes de carbone, ou un mélange d'alcools de masse moléculaire moyenne en poids ~~ supérieure à 32 et au plus égale à 1.58, soit un époxyalcane C n H2n O dans lequel n va de 1 à 10 ou un mélange d'époxyalcanes de masse moléculaire moyenne en poids ~~ supérieur à 30 et au plus égale à 156; et R1A représentant soit un alcool R1OH dans lequel R1 représente un radical hydrocarboné aliphatique, ayant 20 à 50 atomes de carbone ou un mélange d'alcools primaires saturés de masse moléculaire moyenne en poids ~~ allant de 298 à 718,soit un époxyalcane C p H2p O dans lequel p va de 20 à 50 ou un mélange d'époxyalcanes de masse moléculaire moyenne en poids ~~ allant de 296 à 716. Ces compositions sont utiles pour stabiliser et lubrifier des polymères thermoplastiques.
