The invention concerns compositions and methods for assay or detection of apolipoprotein-B48 in samples. In particular, it concerns a method for differential measurement of apolipoprotein-B48 ( APO-B48 ) and apolipoprotein-B100 ( APO-B100 ) in biological samples. The invention also concerns synthetic products of Apo B100, the corresponding antibodies and kits comprising same, as well as their uses for detecting, differentially quantifying and/or recording an amount of Apo-B48 and/or Apo-B100 in a sample, or for quantifying and/or recording atherogenic lipoparticles in a sample. The products, organisms and kits of the invention can also be used for differentially modulating Apo-B48 and/or Apo-B100 levels of their activity, in vitro or in vivo, and for regulating the lipid metabolism in a subject.
La présente invention concerne des compositions et méthodes pour le dosage ou la détection de l~apolipoprotéine B48 dans des échantillons. Elle concerne notamment une méthode permettant de mesurer de faon différentielle l~apolipoprotéine B48 (« Apo B48 ») et l~apoliprotéine B100 (« Apo B100 ») dans des échantillons biologiques. Cette invention concerne également les produits synthétiques de l~Apo B100, les anticorps correspondants et kits les comprenant, ainsi que leurs utilisations pour détecter, quantifier de façon différentielle et/ou enregistrer une quantité d~Apo B48 et/ou d~Apo B100 dans un échantillon, ou encore quantifier et/ou enregistrer les lipoparticules athérogènes dans un échantillon. Les produits, matériels et kits décrits ci- dessus peuvent également être utilisés pour moduler de façon différentielle les niveaux d~Apo B48 et/ou d~Apo B100 ou leur activité, in vitro ou in vivo, et pour réguler le métabolisme lipidique chez un sujet.
