A composition useful in a delivery system for water-insoluble ingredient(s) containing at least one organic phospholipid capable of forming bilayers in aqueous solution; at least one amphoteric surfactant present in an amount by weight equal to or greater than the amount of the phospholipid; at least one nonionic surfactant present in an amount by weight equal to or greater than the amount of the phospholipid; and at least one cationic polymer, wherein the cationic polymer functions to control the amount of water-insoluble ingredient(s) deposited on keratinous substances. A method for treating keratinous substances with the compositions and delivery systems is also disclosed. In addition, the amount of water-insoluble ingredient(s) to be deposited can be controlled by varying the amount of the phospholipid, the nonionic surfactant, or both.
La présente invention concerne une composition utilisée dans un système de distribution d'ingrédient(s) non hydrosoluble(s) contenant au moins un phospholipide organique capable de former des bicouches dans une solution aqueuse; au moins un tensioactif amphotère présent en quantité égale ou inférieure en poids à la quantité du phospholipide; au moins un tensioactif non ionique présent en quantité égale ou inférieure en poids à la quantité du phospholipide; au moins un polymère cationique, lequel fonctionne de manière à réguler la quantité d'ingrédient(s) non hydrosoluble(s) déposé(s) dans des substances kératinisées. En outre, cette invention concerne un procédé de traitement de substances kératinisées avec ces compositions et ces systèmes de distribution. Par ailleurs, on peut réguler la quantité d'ingrédient(s) non hydrosoluble(s) devant être déposé(s) en faisant varier la quantité du phospholipide, du tensioactif non ionique, ou des deux.
