Skin care compositions and methods of regulating the condition of mammalian keratinous tissues containing an effective amount of dialkanoyl hydroxyproline compound and a second skin care compound selected from hexamidine compounds, sugar amine compounds and their compound. These compositions may be either an emulsion or a solution wherein the dialkanoyl hydroxyproline compound may be converted to its salt for incorporation into the aqueous phase of a compositions.

L'invention concerne des compositions de soins de la peau et des procédés de régulation de l'état du tissu kératinique mammifère contenant une dose efficace d'un composé dialcanoyle hydroxyproline et un second composé de soins de la peau choisi parmi des composés d'hexamidine, des composés amines sucrés et leur combinaison. Ces compositions peuvent être soit une émulsion soit une solution dans laquelle le composé dialcanoyle hydroxyproline peut être converti en son sel pour être intégré dans la phase aqueuse d'une composition.
