The compositions and methods of the invention may be utilized for fracture repair. The invention further discloses compositions and methods for systemic administration of bone morphogenetic proteins for promotion of osteogenesis. These compositions and methods may be used in bone fracture healing and repair. These composition of the invention may be further utilized in increasing bone mineral density.
