This invention relates to compositions and methods for treatment of vascular conditions. The invention provides arginine polymers and arginine homopolymers for the treatment and/or prevention of glaucoma, pulmonary hypertension, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, erectile dysfunction, Raynaud~s syndrome, heparin overdose, vulvodynia, and would healing. The invention also provides arginine polymers and arginine homopolymers for use in organ perfusate and preservation solutions.

L'invention concerne des polymères d'arginine et des homopolymères d'arginine destinés au traitement et/ou à la prévention du glaucome, de l'hypertension pulmonaire, de l'asthme, de la maladie obstructive respiratoire chronique, de la dysfonction érectile, du syndrome de Raynaud, de l'overdose d'héparine, de la vulvodynie et de la guérison de blessures. L'invention concerne enfin des polymères d'arginine et des homopolymères d'arginine à utiliser dans des perfusé d'organe et solutions de conservation.
