The methods comprise the step of administering to a bird, an amount of a composition having a first ingredient obtainable from turmeric; a second ingredient obtainable from green tea; an third ingredient obtainable from ginger; and an acceptable carrier. Compositions in accordance with the invention may be employed for the purpose of reducing the incidence of contracting infectious bronchitis or reducing the transmissivity of infectious bronchitis.
