Compositions for treating, reducing, ameliorating, or preventing infection of an ear or upper respiratory tract comprise a fluroquinolone having Formula I, II, or UI. Methods for treating, reducing, ameliorating, or preventing such infection use such compositions. Such compositions and methods can be effective against certain antibiotic-resistant microbial pathogens found in such infection.

L'invention concerne également des procédés de traitement, de réduction, d'amélioration, ou de prévention d'une telle infection mettant en AEuvre lesdites compositions. Lesdites compositions et procédés peuvent être efficaces contre certains agents pathogènes d'origine microbienne résistants aux antibiotiques présents dans une telle infection.
