The present invention relates to compositions which, in sprayable or liquid form, are suitable as wound sealants for woody plants. The invention also relates to a method of protecting woody plants from infection with phytopathogenic fungi, in particular ESCA infection, using such wound sealants. These compositions comprise: a) a water-insoluble sealing agent in dissolved or dispersed form which is selected among film-forming water-insoluble polymers, waxes and their mixtures; b) at least one plant protectant, c) at least one volatile diluent, in particular an aqueous diluent, and, if appropriate, d) at least one nonionic surface-active substance in an amount of from 10 to 100% by weight, in particular 10 to 80% by weight, based on the sealing material.

La présente invention a pour objet les compositions qui sont utilisées sous forme pulvérisable en tant que mastic à cicatriser pour plantes ligneuses. L'invention a également pour objet un procédé servant à protéger les plantes ligneuses d'une infection par champignon phytopathogène, en particulier d'une infection par ESCA en utilisant un pansement de ce type. Lesdites compositions contiennent : a) un matériau couvrant insoluble dans l'eau sous forme de soluté ou de dispersion, sélectionné parmi les polymères insolubles dans l'eau filmogènes, les cires et les mélanges de ceux-ci ; b) au moins un principe actif phytosanitaire ; c) au moins un diluant volatil, notamment un diluant aqueux et optionnellement d) au moins un agent tensio-actif non ionique dans une proportion de 10 à 100 % p, de préférence de 10 à 80 %, sur la base du matériau cicatrisant.
