The present invention is concerned with the treamtment or prevention of cancer, H. pylori infections, chronic inflammatory conditions, cardiovascular diseases or cerebral vascular diseases in a mammal, comprising the administration of the mammal of an effective amount of a composition containing a matrine component and dictamnine. Another aspect of the invention relates to a composition comprising at least 15 µmole of a matrine component and at least 0.15 µmole of dictamnine.

L'invention concerne le traitement ou la prévention de cancers, des infections H. pylori, de maladies inflammatoires chroniques, de maladies cardio-vasculaires et cérébro-vasculaires chez les mammifères. Selon l'invention, on administre au mammifère concerné une quantité efficace d'une composition contenant un composant matrine et une dictamnine. La présente invention porte également sur une composition comprenant au moins 15 µmole d'un composant matrine et au moins 0.15 µmole de dictamnine.
