A composition comprising a crystalline NSAID having polyvinylpyrrolidone adsorbed on the surface thereof in an amount sufficient to maintain an effective average particle size of less than about 1000 µm, hygroscopic sugar and sodium lauryl sulfate exhibit greatly reduced gastric irritation following oral administration and/or hastened onset of action due to the substantial redispersion of the solid formulation to nanoparticles in gastric fluid.

Une composition contenant un anti-inflammatoire non stéroïdien cristallisé ayant de la polyvinylpyrrolidone adsorbée sur la surface en une quantité suffisante pour maintenir une granulométrie effective moyenne inférieure à environ 1000 µm, un sucre hygroscopique et du laurylsulfate de sodium, permet de diminuer considérablement l'irritation gastrique après une administration orale et/ou elle permet d'assurer une action plus rapide, grâce à la redispersion substantielle de la formulation solide en nanoparticules dans le fluide gastrique.
