The present invention relates to highly selective phosphodiesterase (PDE) enzyme inhibitors and to their use in pharmaceutical articles of manufacture. In particular, the present invention relates to potent inhibitors of cyclic guanosine 3',5'-monophosphate specific phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) that when incorporated into a pharmaceutical product at about 1 to about 20 mg unit dosage are useful for the treatment of sexual dysfunction.
L'invention concerne des inhibiteurs de l'enzymes phosphodiestérase (PDE) fortement sélectifs et leur utilisation dans des articles pharmaceutiques de fabrication. L'invention porte plus particulièrement sur de puissants inhibiteurs de la phosphodiestérase de type 5 (PDE5) spécifique du guanosine 3',5'-monophosphate qui, une fois incorporés dans un produit pharmaceutique selon un dosage unitaire oscillant entre environ 1 et environ 20 mg, sont utiles pour le traitement de dysfonctionnement sexuel.
