JMB, 655/A/B ABSTRACT This invention relates to new platinium co-ordination compounds, to pharmaceutical compositions containing them and to their use in the treatment of malignant tumours or malignant neoplasms. In particular a compound according to the invention comprises a cis co-ordination compound of p1atinum having the structure Image in which X and Y are the same or different ligands selected from halide sulphate, phosphate, nitrate, carboxylate, substituted carboxylate and water and A and B are the same or different straight-chain amines co-ordinated to the Pt through their N atoms, such that the platinum is present as Pt2+.
