JMB.652/A ABSTRACT This invention relates to platinum co-ordination compounds, to pharmaceutical compositions containing them and to their use in the treatment of malignant tumours or malignant neoplasms. In particular a compound according to the present invention comprises a cis co-ordination compound of platinum having the structure Image in which X and Y are the same or different ligands selected from sulphate, phosphate, nitrate, carboxylate, substituted carboxylate and water and A and B are the same or different alicyclic amines co-ordinated to the Pt through their N atoms, such that the platinum is present as Pt2+.
