The invention concerns compositions to be applied on the surfaces of freshly poured mortar and/or concrete mixtures, prior to setting, to prevent evaporation of the water required for setting and hardening, characterized in that, to obtain synergy thereof them relative to water retention, they consist, in the form of aqueous emulsions of: a) at least one petroleum or synthetic paraffin containing, in mixture, saturated and unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbons of general formulae CnH¿2n+2? and CnH¿2n?, wherein n is at least equal to 30 and whereof the melting point ranges between 40 ·C and 75 ·C; b) at least one linear and/or cyclic hydrocarbon oil, of aliphatic and/or naphthenic origin, which are hydrocarbon chains, alone or mixed, of general formulae CnH¿2n+2? and CnH¿2n?, wherein n is less than 30, in liquid state at room temperature; c) and/or at least one oil consisting of at least one ester derived from the condensation reaction of a saturated and/or unsaturated fatty acid with a mono-, di- or trihydric alcohol.
Compositions destinées à être appliquées sur des surfaces de mortiers et/ou de bétons fraîchement coulés, pour empêcher l'évaporation de l'eau nécessaire à leur prise et à leur durcissement, contenant sous la forme d'émulsions aqueuses : a) d'au moins une paraffine d'origine pétrolière ou de synthèse dont le point de fusion est compris entre 40~C et 75~C ; b) d'au moins une huile hydrocarbonée linéaire et/ou cyclique, d'origine aliphatique et/ou naphténique, dans un état liquide à température ambiante ; c) et/ou d'au moins une huile formée d'au moins un ester résultant de la réaction de condensation d'un acide gras saturé et/ou insaturé avec un alcool mono, di ou trihydrique.
