New dyeing compositions, containing improved levelling agents, for dyeing of keratinous fibres, especially human hair, making more uniform the colour of the dyed fibres, are provided. The compositions contain one or more compounds of the formulae (I) and/or (II), wherein R is an alkyl group or alkenyl group having 6 to 24 carbon atoms; R', R'' and R''' are independently a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 5 carbon atoms which is optionally hydroxylated; m has a value in the range of 4 to 10; n has a value in the range of 0 to 10; and p has a value in the range of 1 to 10, with the proviso that when p = 1, at least one of R', R'' and R''' is not a hydrogen atom.

L'invention concerne de nouvelles compositions de coloration contenant des agents d'étalement améliorés, utilisées dans la coloration des fibres kératiniques, en particulier les cheveux humains, et permettant d'obtenir des fibres colorées d'une couleur plus uniforme. Les compositions contiennent un ou plusieurs composés représentés par les formules suivantes (I) et/ou (II), dans lesquelles R est un groupe alkyle ou alcényle contenant de 6 à 24 atomes de carbone; R', R'' et R''' sont indépendamment un atome d'hydrogène ou un groupe alkyle contenant de 1 à 5 atomes de carbone, éventuellement hydroxylé; m possède une valeur de 4 à 10; n possède une valeur de 0 à 10; et p possède une valeur de 1 à 10, à condition que lorsque p = 1, au moins R', R'' ou R''' ne soit pas un atome d'hydrogène.
