Methods of controlling malodorous components in agricultural products comprise adding an odor- masking agent to the agricultural products. Advantageous odor- masking agents include "green notes" and are surprisingly and particularly adapted for the masking of phenoxy or phenolic odors such as those produced by the herbicide 2,4-D.
