The invention relates to a composition for topical application comprising as an active ingredient a peroxide and a retinoid wherein one of said peroxide and retinoid is in the form of first microparticles comprising a solid particulate matter of the active ingredient coated by a metal oxide layer and the other of said peroxide and retinoid is present in an uncoated free form or in a coated form of the active ingredient. The invention further relates to method for treating a surface condition in a subject using said composition, a method for preparing a composition exhibiting improved stability, and a kit comprising: (a) a first composition comprising a peroxide as a first active ingredient; and (b) a second composition comprising a retinoid as a second active ingredient; at least one of said first and said second active ingredient being coated by a metal oxide layer.
Cette invention concerne une composition d'application topique comprenant, comme ingrédient actif, un peroxyde et un rétinoïde. Le peroxyde ou le rétinoïde se présente sous la forme de premières microparticules comprenant une matière particulaire solide de l'ingrédient actif enrobée d'une couche d'oxyde métallique, l'ingrédient actif de l'autre élément peroxyde ou rétinoïde étant présent sans enrobage ou avec enrobage. L'invention concerne en outre une méthode de traitement d'un état de surface chez un sujet utilisant cette composition; une méthode de préparation d'une composition présentant une stabilité améliorée; et un kit comprenant: a) une première composition dont un peroxyde constitue un premier ingrédient actif, et b) une seconde composition dont un rétinoïde constitue un second ingrédient actif; au moins un desdits premier et second ingrédient actif étant enrobé d'une couche d'oxyde métallique.
