The invention features a composition for treating keratin materials in particular human hair, containing in a cosmetically and dermatologically acceptable aqueous medium at least: a) a polyampholyte polymer comprising in the chain or in a lateral position relative to the chain, equimolar or practically equimolar amounts of negative charges and positive charges; the said polymer being water-insoluble at a concentration of 0.1 % by weight or above and at 20 ·C; b) a non-volatile, water-insoluble organopolysiloxyne of a viscosity higher than 3.10?-5¿ m?2¿/s (300 centistokes).

L'invention a pour objet une composition pour le traitement des matières kératiniques en particulier des cheveux humains, contenant dans un milieu aqueux cosmétiquement et/ou dermatologiquement acceptable au moins: (a) un polymère polyampholyte comportant dans la chaîne ou en position latérale par rapport à la chaîne, des quantités équimolaires ou pratiquement équimolaires de charges négatives et de charges positives; ledit polymère étant insoluble dans l'eau à une concentration supérieure ou égale à 0,1 % en poids et à 20 ~C; (b) un organopolysiloxane non-volatil, non-hydrosoluble de viscosité supérieure à 3.10-5 m2/s (300 centistokes).
