3-15869/=/CGC 1197 Compositions stabilized with aminoxy alkylamine derivatives Abstract of the Disclosure A composition of matter comprising an organic material subject to oxidative, thermal and/or actinic degradation and at least a compound of formula (I) Image (I) wherein R1 and R2 are independently alkyl of 1 to 36 carbon atoms, cycloalkyl of 5 to 12 carbon atoms, aralkyl of 7 to 9 carbon atoms or said aralkyl substituted by alkyl of 1 to 36 carbon atoms, or R1 and R2 together with the nitrogen to which they are bonded form a 5 to 7 membered heterocyclic ring, or R1 and R2 are independently a group of the formula (II) Image (II); R3, R4, R5, R6 and R7 are independently hydrogen, alkyl of 1 to 36 carbon atoms, cycloalkyl of 5 to 12 carbon atoms, allyl, aryl, aralkyl of 7 to 9 carbon atoms, said aralkyl substituted by alkyl of 1 to 36 carbon atoms, bornyl or norbornyl, or R4 and R5 together with the nitrogen to which they are bonded form a 5 to 7 membered heterocyclic ring; n is 1 to 4; x is 0 to 5; T1 has one of the meanings given for R3 or is Image ; - 2 - 21489-7156 when n = 1, T2 has one of the meanings given for R3 or is C1-C4- alkyl which is substituted by a 5 to 7 membered unsaturated hetero- cyclic group, or T1 and T2 together with the nitrogen to which they are bonded form a 5 to 7 membered saturated heterocyclic ring; when n = 2, T2 is alkylene of 2 to 12 carbon atoms, cycloalkylene of 6 to 10 carbon atoms, arylene of 6 to 10 carbon atoms or alkylene- arylenealkylene of 8 to 10 carbon atoms or T1 and T2 together with the two nitrogens to which they are bonded form a 5 to 7 membered saturated heterocyclic ring; when n = 3, T2 is alkanetriyl of 3 to 6 carbon atoms or T1 and T2 together with the three nitrogens to which they are bonded form a 5 to 6 membered saturated heterocyclic ring; and when n = 4, T2 is alkanetetrayl of 4 to 6 carbon atoms. In this com- position the compound of the formula (I) is effective as stabilizer. Some aminoxy alkylamine derivatives of the formula (I) are new.
