73665-1 ABSTRACT Disclosed is an arrangement for composting organic materials comprising two complementary wall members adapted to be joined together to form a continuous upright wall of a container having open upper and lower ends. Perforated cover members are engageable with the upper and lower ends of the container. The perforations in the cover members are sized to prevent entry of rodents or other animals but permit entry of earthworms through the holes in the cover member on the lower end of the wall. When the container is full of compost, the top cover can be removed and the wall members separated, leaving the compost to mature while sitting on the bottom cover member. With the top cover member, an extra cover member, and the two wall members, a second container can be assembled.
