A compost curing and odor control system in which biofilters (60) are disposed in overlying relation to the compost curing area. The floors of both biofilters and curing area consist of a series of elongated planks (10, 52), of generally trapezoidal cross-sectional configuration placed in abutting relation with the longer parallel sides of the trapezoid lying in the plane of the floor and forming between them a narrow slit through which air is passed by an underlying air plenum (14, 54), in pneumatic communication.
L'invention concerne un système pour assurer la maturation d'un compost sans dégagement de mauvaises odeurs, dans lequel des biofiltres (60) sont disposés au-dessus de la zone de maturation du compost. Les sols des biofiltres et de la zone de maturation sont constitués par une série de planches allongées (10, 52) ayant, en coupe transversale, la forme générale d'un trapèze. Ces planches sont placées l'une à côté de l'autre dans le sens de leur longueur avec les côtés les plus longs du trapèze coïncidant avec le plan du plancher et elles présentent entre elles un espacement étroit permettant à l'air d'entrer, depuis des chambres de répartition de l'air sous-jacentes (14, 54).
