ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Compounds having the formula (I): (I) Image wherein A is -CH2-, -O-, or -S-; R1 is CH3 or OCH3; R2 is a hydroxy group or -CO-R4 wherein R4 is a hydroxy group, lower alkoxy group, benzyloxy group, morpholino group, thiomorpholino group, piperidino group or N-methylpiperazinyl group; R3 is H or a lower alkyl; and n is 0 or an integer of 1 to 6 or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof are useful in the treatment of cerebral insufficiency.
